American Dog School

Frequently Asked Questions

What should I bring to the lesson?

Essentially the focus is on you and your dog so bring the leash and collar that you normally use, along with your dog’s favorite treats. (If you prefer to use food in your training.) We can make recommendations on training equipment as necessary.

My dog will be boarding with you, what shall I bring?

Food – we like for you to provide us with your dog’s regular food so his or her diet can stay consistent— this helps prevent stress as well.

Vet Records – We want to make sure that your pet is up to date on their shots, including Rabies, Parvo, and Kennel Cough. This protects your pet as well as the rest of the animals at our facility.

Kennel Card – You may download one here, and bring it in with you, or fill one out at our facility.
